Introducing MAXH2O Desalter, eliminating the limitation of water chemistry.

The patented MAXH2O Desalter maximizes the potential of RO to treat brine, by eliminating the limitation of water chemistry. It operates by recirculating treated water through the RO system at high shear velocity, continuously precipitating supersaturated salts from the recirculated brine.

The outcome? A unique RO process that operates at a very high recovery rate without compromising the membrane’s service life and significantly reducing the operating cost.

Increase wastewater recovery with IDE's into

Pulse Flow RO (PRFO) system

Our proprietary, patented Pulse Flow RO (PFRO) technology challenges conventional RO operations by discharging brine in a pulse flow regime through short forceful surges. The frequently and rapidly changing osmotic and gauge pressure prevents the formation of biofouling, and eliminates the need in chloramine dosing. This solution reduces the number of pressure vessels and membranes due to an equal pressure distribution between the membranes. IDE’s PFRO solution for brine minimization can be designed into new plants or retrofitted into existing facilities.  

The outcome? An innovative method for operating reverse osmosis water reuse systems that enable high recovery, high flux and operation while at the same time reduces power consumption, reduces the number of pressure vessels and membranes, and reduces cost.
